Growing up, I always loved being in front of a camera. I even started shooting and editing my own YouTube videos at the age of 11 (which will never see the light of day). Today, not much has changed, except I can make way cooler videos.

Within my broadcast news studies at the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication, I shot and edited weekly news packages. This major also provided the opportunity for me to serve as a reporter and an anchor on Murrow News 8, a student-run daily newscast that aired in the local Pullman/Spokane area.
In June 2022, I won a Northwest Regional Emmy Award in the Newscast - College Programming Category for the April 30, 2021 Murrow News 8 newscast.
Here's the winning newscast I produced!

Aaand here's a weather report of mine!
Here's a package of mine where I researched, wrote, shot and edited a local news story for on-air broadcasting and digital platforms. Watch me shine a light on the story of a rock shop and its passionate owner on the Palouse.
In the fall semester of 2020, my news package created with a focus on the 2020 election was chosen to be featured in the Northwest Public Broadcasting 2020 election night coverage special.
